Great question!
Maybe you run a small business, people will want to see who they're thinking about hiring, and a professional image says that you care about the details.
Are you an executive or board member? To many of your online connections, you are THE face of your organization. Shouldn't it be a good one?
How about that foodie blog you do? (If you can recommend a type of cheese we just HAVE to try, please tell us!)
Medium sized business? Bring your whole team and get everyone taken care of so that your corporate directory, or website has some faces!
It really doesn't matter who you are these days, we all have an online presence. If you're speaking at an event, looking for a new job, or applying to grad school, people are going to snoop you out on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or *gasp* they may even find an old MySpace profile (you should probably just delete that one).
In the end, it really comes down to the fact that if you want to be seen as a professional, you ought to look the part. We can help!
